Archive or Delete a Client
Archive vs. Delete
FitSuite gives you two ways to remove a client from your active roster. Choosing the right one depends on whether you might work with them again.
| Action | Data kept | Reversible |
|---|---|---|
| Archive | All data preserved | Yes |
| Delete | All data removed | No |
Archiving a Client
Archiving is the recommended option when a client pauses or ends their coaching. Their full history — plans, check-ins, notes, and messages — is preserved, but they no longer appear in your active client list.
To archive, open the client’s profile, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, and select Archive Client. The client will lose access to the app but their data stays intact.
💡 Tip: Use the “Archived” filter in the Clients list to quickly browse all archived clients.
Restoring an Archived Client
To bring a client back, filter your client list to show archived clients, open their profile, and click Restore Client. They’ll return to your active roster and regain app access. All their previous data will be right where you left it.
Permanently Deleting a Client
If you need to permanently remove a client and all their data, open their profile, go to the three-dot menu, and select Delete Client. You’ll be asked to confirm by typing the client’s name.
⚠️ Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All workout history, check-ins, progress photos, messages, and notes will be erased. If you’re unsure, archive instead.
📝 Note: Deleting a client does not automatically cancel any active payment subscriptions. Make sure to handle billing separately before deleting.
