Client Tags & Groups

Why Use Tags and Groups?

As your client roster grows, tags and groups help you stay organized. Use tags for flexible labels (e.g., “Competition Prep”, “Beginner”, “VIP”) and groups for structured segments you interact with regularly.

Creating Tags

Go to Clients > Tags and click + New Tag. Give it a name and optionally pick a color for visual distinction. Tags are reusable across your entire client list.

Applying Tags to Clients

You can tag clients in two ways:

  • From a client’s profile — open their profile, click the tag icon, and select one or more tags.
  • From the client list — select one or more clients using the checkboxes, then choose Add Tag from the bulk actions bar.

Filtering by Tag

In the Clients list, use the tag filter dropdown to show only clients with a specific tag. You can combine multiple tags to narrow results further.

💡 Tip: Combine tag filters with the status filter (active, paused, archived) to build precise client segments — for example, all active clients tagged “Weight Loss”.

Creating Groups

Groups work like saved client lists. Go to Clients > Groups, click + New Group, name it, and add clients manually or by tag criteria. Groups update automatically when based on tag rules.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple clients from any filtered view to perform bulk actions:

  • Assign or remove tags
  • Send a broadcast message
  • Assign a plan template
  • Export client data

⚠️ Warning: Bulk plan assignment will overwrite any existing active plan of the same type for the selected clients.
