Track Client Meals
Overview
FitSuite gives you full visibility into what your clients are eating. Clients log their meals through the app, and you get a real-time dashboard showing their intake, compliance, and trends.
How Clients Log Meals
From the client app, your clients can log meals in three ways:
- Search the food database to find items and log portions
- Scan a barcode for packaged foods with automatic macro lookup
- Quick-add macros by entering calories, protein, carbs, and fat manually
Each logged meal is timestamped and categorized (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack) so the daily picture stays organized.
Coach View of Meal Logs
Head to Clients > [Name] > Nutrition > Meal Log to see everything your client has logged. The daily view shows each meal with a full macro breakdown, and the weekly view gives you a bird’s-eye summary of average intake and adherence.
Color-coded indicators show whether the client is hitting, exceeding, or falling short of their targets for each macro.
Compliance Tracking
The Compliance panel shows the percentage of days the client logged meals and how closely their actual intake matched their targets. Use the date range picker to review any period — a single week or an entire month.
Providing Feedback
Click on any logged day to leave a comment. Clients receive a notification in their app and can reply directly. This keeps nutrition coaching conversations attached to the actual data instead of scattered across messages.
💡 Tip: Enable daily meal reminders in the client’s notification settings to improve logging consistency — clients who log regularly see better results.
