Create a Nutrition Plan

Overview

Nutrition plans in FitSuite let you build structured meal programs tailored to each client’s goals, preferences, and dietary needs. Once created, plans can be assigned directly to a client or saved as templates for reuse.

Creating a New Plan

Navigate to Nutrition > Plans and click New Plan. Give your plan a name (e.g., “Cut Phase — 2000 kcal”) and optionally add a description so you can identify it later.

Choose the plan duration — you can set it up as a single-day template or a full weekly structure with different meals for each day.

Adding Meals and Days

Click Add Day to create entries for each day of the plan. Within each day, add individual meals such as Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, and Dinner. For each meal you can:

  • Search and add foods from the built-in database
  • Add custom foods with manual macro values
  • Insert recipes from your Recipe Books
  • Reorder meals via drag and drop

Setting Calorie and Macro Targets

Each plan has an overall daily calorie target. FitSuite automatically sums the macros from all meals and shows you how close you are to hitting the target. Adjust portions or swap foods until the numbers line up.

Dietary Preferences

Tag your plan with dietary labels like Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, or Dairy-Free. These tags help you filter and find plans quickly when assigning them.

Assigning to a Client

Open the client’s profile, go to the Nutrition tab, and click Assign Plan. Select the plan from your library, set a start date, and confirm. The client will see the plan immediately in their app.

💡 Tip: Duplicate an existing plan before editing it — this keeps your original template intact while letting you customize for a specific client.
