Create a Workout Plan
Getting Started
To create a new workout plan, navigate to Workout Plans in the sidebar and click + New Plan. Give your plan a descriptive name — something like “Beginner Full Body 3x/week” or “Advanced Push/Pull/Legs” — so you can find it easily later.
Setting the Schedule
Choose how you want to structure the plan’s duration:
- Weekly plans — set the number of weeks (e.g., 4, 8, or 12 weeks)
- Ongoing plans — the plan repeats indefinitely until you swap it out
Then select how many training days per week your client will follow. FitSuite automatically lays out the calendar view based on your choices.
Adding Workout Days
Click + Add Day to create each training session. Label each day with a focus area (e.g., “Upper Body”, “Leg Day”, “Active Recovery”) to keep things organized. You can drag and drop days to reorder them within the week.
Structuring Sessions
Each workout day can include multiple sections. Use sections to group exercises logically — for example, a warm-up block, a main strength block, and a finisher. This structure is visible to your clients in the app, helping them follow the session smoothly.
💡 Tip: Start with a plan structure before adding exercises. Getting the days and sections right first saves time and keeps everything clean when you start filling in movements.
What’s Next
Once your plan structure is ready, head to each workout day to start adding exercises with sets, reps, and rest periods.
