What Are Automations
Overview
Automations let you put repetitive coaching tasks on autopilot. Instead of manually sending welcome messages, assigning plans, or nudging clients for check-ins, FitSuite handles it for you — instantly and consistently.
How They Work
Every automation follows a simple pattern:
- Trigger — something happens (e.g., a new client is added).
- Condition (optional) — a filter narrows when it runs (e.g., only if the client’s goal is “weight loss”).
- Action — FitSuite does something automatically (e.g., sends a welcome message).
You build these visually in the automation editor — no code required.
Common Examples
- Welcome message: When a client signs up, automatically send a personalized onboarding message.
- Plan assignment: When a client is added to a specific group, assign them a workout and nutrition plan.
- Check-in reminders: Every Sunday at 9 AM, remind clients to submit their weekly check-in.
- Payment follow-up: When a payment fails, send a friendly notification asking the client to update their card.
- Program completion: When a client finishes a training plan, assign the next phase automatically.
Time Savings
Trainers using automations report saving 3-5 hours per week on admin tasks. The more clients you manage, the bigger the impact. A coach with 50 clients doing manual check-in reminders alone spends over an hour each week — automations reduce that to zero.
💡 Tip: Start with just one automation (like a welcome message) and build from there. Even a single automation can make a noticeable difference in your workflow.
